-I'm not a part of the marketing/community team, so no I can't give you any official information.
-A few other Sparkplay employees are with me.

This is the cruelest, and yet most heartening, tease ever.

As for my sig, that was merely me realizing that Piggypops said 'Happy Holidays', and it suggested to me 'You'll see more after the holidays!'. After all, who actually works this month that seriously? I'd been meaning to update that sig-graphic since Thanksgiving, too. So no, Piggypops didn't slip me any super-secret information. (I wish!)

Thank you very much for the updated information Piggypops. It gives us a little peace of mind and we breathe a sigh of relief knowing that progress is being made on the game we are so dedicated and loyal to.

I hope the new company truly appreciates this bottomless well-spring of enthusiasm, passion and commitment that is represented here in this community.

I'm curious will Matt have any role with the new company? If not an "employee" then at least a creative consultant of some sort? Personally I hope the game will continue to find inspiration in his creative vision and direction for the game which had so much potential.

Is it safe to assume that the version of Earth Eternal your playing is an updated version that the new company is developing? Are you "test-playing" it and giving feedback and ideas? In other words, are the developers and programmers actively working on and improving the game? It would be comforting to know that the new company is indeed investing some time and people to improving the bugs, performance issues and simply lag, as well as perhaps adding some original content and giving the game a 'face-lift'.

Sad to hear we wont learn much about the new company or game by the end of this year. Even when an announcement is made sometime next year I suspect there will be a period for an aggressive marketing and promotional campaign to generate buzz, excitement and interest in the game and expand the potential player-base before the game is ever re-released. Looks like we may be waiting some time I suspect.

Still, I am grateful for the news and as long as we continue to hear from Piggypops I truly do believe there is reason to hope and be optimistic.

Can you tell us if it's still the same game?

I expect the game to come back sometime next summer actually so I kind of expected this news.

That fact alone that someone is playing EE right now, that's awesome, that means they've already established some kind of host for the game.

I wonder if the company will announce who they are any time before EE's release though.
