I went to some weird and crazy place over the course of the past weekend thanks to a friend of mine bugging me to go a couple months in advance. Long story short it was the worst best (was sick all weekend) first convention experience I ever had thanks to my buddy and all of his friends being awesome in general. There definitely wasn't quite as much cringe inducing sights as I thought there would be, but make no mistake I did see a few "WTF" examples here and there.

Some of those costumes are really good. Were you in a costume too, SpectralWolf?

My buddy actually got a friend of his to let me use one of his 5 or so suits for a couple of days, so yeah I ran around in something for a few hours Friday and Saturday.

The details in some of those are amazing.
