So what have John Yoo and Piggypops been busy doing since Earth Eternal? I recently had some correspondence from both of them and thought what they each were working on looked amazing and would be of interest to the community here.


Piggypops is working on a really creative project! In an Atari gaming contest he is in "the top 20 candidates for the Pong Indie Developer Challenge" which can be found at: http://www.atari.com/pongdeveloperchallenge

John Yoo, former Lead Designer with Sparkplay that previously worked with Blizzard's World of Warcraft, of course first took a position with Zygna as a Senior Game Designer before becoming a Senior Creative Director at RockYou, who produces "Zoo World". Currently, he is Co-Founder and Design Director of Rumble Games, and their first game "Kings Road" will be launching Beta shortly! Like Earth Eternal, this is also a browser-based game.

Firstly, we want to ask for your help in bringing new members to this site. We're on the verge of a massive remodel, and have several forum sections for furry games, with more coming soon. Playing one of the games that have been suggested? Are you active in any other furry communities? Tell your friends about us, and help us make this site active again!

Now for the contest:

WoW has been suggested several times as a popular game that could bring in some more furry game fans. Thanks to Ronin, we have a banner for TERA, and Jackuul has managed to make good banners for the other games. Now we want to ask you guys for help on making a WoW banner.

Rules & Requirements:

-The banner must include at least one of the furry races in WoW; preferably more than one.
-It must be 500px by 100px in size.
-It must not be anything that will induce seizures or cause someone to go blind in one eye.
-It must say World of Warcraft on it.

Reward:

-The member who makes the most aesthetically pleasing banner for us to use will get the opportunity to create a forum rank for their own personal use! It can be whatever you want, so long as it's not morbidly gross, offensive, or anything that would be rated R in a movie.
-Since there's no way to color or make forum ranks more unique, in addition to your own forum rank, you will also get to choose an image to go with that forum rank (which is different from your user avatar). This can be whatever you want as well, but it has to be small enough to fit.


The contest will last for one week, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 2nd, and ending Wednesday, May 9th. Get working on those banners!

I'm temporarily taking up a mod position again to collect some input from whoever's still active here. We want to know what you, the community, want to see done with the site.

I can say that there will definitely be a major site overhaul, in which we will get a portal page, as well as sections for TERA and Guild Wars 2, with less emphasis on what this site has been up until now -- an Earth Eternal fansite. As Earth Eternal no longer exists, and likely won't anytime in the near future (if ever), we need to expand to welcome in new game communities. While this won't be a fast transition, Jackuul is currently brainstorming (in his limited spare time) on what can be done in the redesign, or what games we could promote, forum sections/designs of forum sections we could have on the site, and anything else site-related that needs to change.

It would be a great help if we could get some ideas from you guys, specifically if there are any other popular or up-coming games that have furry races and are likely to attract a following from the furry community. Anything helps, though, so post any suggestions you have here!
