Why you shouldn't get Pokemon X/Y

Read and prosper: So you're a grown-ass adult paying $239 to play pokemon.

I'm going for X because Xerneas (majestic as f***) ftw. What version are you all going for and why?

This is the part where I could point out the guy is an obvious troll.

Yup, the guy's harebrained.
Depending on how often and how much you spend money on "leisure activities", $238.99 doesn't have to be a "sh*tload of money".
I am sure this guy doesn't visit funfairs or go to the cinema either.
Or watch a movie at home, or play other videogames that isn't pokemon...
Those things doesn't boost your career. And oh my god! What a waste of time those activities are...

Not going to get it day 1, will wait till xmas. Right now I have other games to take care off.

I'm going with X, guess I just like deers, end of story.
For me, the version differences matters much less today when you can trade pokemåns online anyway.

The whole article was written as a bit of a joke and not necessarily to be taken as a super serious debate.

I just wish he would have made the counterpoints a bit longer to at least match some of the length of the prior arguments.

Well I'm not waiting quite that long get it it, and instead will just wait until I'm off on Monday to go nab a copy for myself. In all honesty with Pokemon Black/White the way I made my decision was which legendary I liked better, and as such opted for Black because I liked look of Reshiram over the other one. I just so happen to like the look of Xerneas more than Yveltal for the latest outting, but before any of those I couldn't say due to the fact that I didn't get any of the others... (Red Version ftfw)

Too true, Steam has profile privacy settings and I'd suggest you change yours to something other than "Public" for reasons such as Dusk mentioned. At least you are doing very a good job of not letting him get to you Sly, which is pretty much the only thing you can do outside of outright ignoring asshats like that.
